We find this an enriching experience, making us enjoy what nature gives us even more. The pioneering days In the 1980s, we started growing. It fascinated us, we picked and tried all kinds of things. We wanted to share the knowledge we gained with other growers. That's why we launched our first nutritional products in the early nineties: CANNA Vega and CANNA Flores. Today we are still experimenting, now in a big way. We have five research centres spread all over the world. Here, we do research on plant, nutrition and location-specific factors such as climate. On average, we spend two years developing a product. We offer four product lines, which are sold in almost all Dutch grow shops and in over 30 countries. This allows us to keep control and guarantee quality. Our network has grown enormously over the past thirty years; we speak to many growers these days. Their practical experiences are a welcome addition to our research. And of course it's always nice to hear success stories. Sustainable growing CANNA grew out of our fascination with nature. We wanted to get to know each plant and understand the growth process. We were thinking sustainable even before it was an item. This is reflected in the course we choose. For instance, the vials are made of polyethylene, a highly recyclable plastic. And with BioCANNA, we offer fertilisers for growers who want to grow completely organic.
