Cycas Revoluta - 5 Seeds Buy?

The best-known and (for the room) strongest Cycas palm. Give them a very light spot and fairly abundant moisture, in summer they can be allowed outside. As the plant ages, more leaves are added each year, which start soft, unfurl gracefully and then become (feather-shaped) firm (even quite hard) and dark green. Every year, leaves also fall off, forming a trunk. This palm already grew in ancient primeval forests along with dinosaurs, they are common in fossils.

Sowing method

Sow: all year round. For faster germination, rub seeds between sandpaper or roughen with a file, then soak in warm water for a few hours. Sow in airy sowing soil, cover seeds with a layer of soil 3x the thickness of the seed. Optimum germination temperature 20̊-25°C. Cover seedling with (fleece) cloth or foil to prevent drying out.
