This mixture of pastel-coloured gladioli is indispensable in your summer garden. These true summer bloomers can bloom right into autumn. These richly flowering, large-flowered gladioli grow to 90-100 cm and are also wonderful cut flowers. So be sure to plant a row of gladioli in your cut flower garden. Moreover, this gladiolus mixture is very richly flowering and should therefore not be missing in your summer flower garden. The tubers of Gladioli can be planted about 7-10 cm deep in spring. First loosen the soil well and sprinkle a layer of sharp sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This allows rainwater to drain well under the tubers. Place the tubers about 10-12 cm apart. While planting, add some good potting soil. Mix heavy (clay) soil with sharp sand before planting. This large-flowered gladiolus likes to grow in a warm sunny spot. These blue and white large-flowered gladiolus are good to combine. You can create special combinations with them in the border with tall perennials and dahlias. Preferably plant gladioli in a different spot every year. Do you use these gladioli as cut flowers? Pick the stems when the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Place the stems immediately in a vase of lukewarm water with cut flower food.
