Gladioli Nanus Charming Lady - Dwarf Gladioli - New - 10 Bulbs

Height in cm 70
Flowering time July - August
Planting time April - June

The small-flowered nanus gladiolus Charming Lady is a true summer bloomer that can flower until autumn. This special small-flowered gladiolus grows to 60-70 cm. and is also a beautiful cut flower. This Charming Lady gladiolus is very richly flowering and should not be missing in your summer flower garden. Gladioli tubers can be planted about 7-10 cm deep in spring. First loosen the soil well and sprinkle a layer of sharp sand at the bottom of the planting hole. This allows rainwater to drain well under the tubers. Place the tubers about 10-12 cm apart. While planting, add some good potting soil. Mix heavy (clay) soil with sharp sand before planting. This large-flowered gladiolus likes to grow in a warm sunny spot. This small-flowered gladiolus has a beautiful white and pink colour and is therefore easy to combine. You can create special combinations in the border with perennials, dahlias and other summer flowers. Preferably plant gladioli in a different spot every year. Will you use the Charming Lady gladiolus as a cut flower? If so, pick the stems when the bottom flower opens, preferably early in the morning. Place the stems immediately in a vase of lukewarm water with cut flower food.
