Hair is an unusual Allium variety. The flower resembles a punk's hair. When this Allium starts flowering, the flower spikes are still short and neat, but soon they grow into a wild head of hair. They are actually all young bulbs with green shoots. When the 'flower' matures, they fall to the ground with stem and all, where they try to grow further. Suitable for naturalising.
