Agapanthus africanus 'Albus' is an unusual white summer bloomer and can be planted indoors or outdoors. Plant the tuber in a pot with good soil. After danger of night frost has disappeared, the Agapanthus can also be planted outside. Plant them 10 cm. deep in humus-rich, well-drained soil in a spot in full sun. When planting in pots and planters, always use new potting soil. During growth it is important to water the tubers regularly, reduce watering in autumn and provide good winter protection. The Agapanthus is not resistant to frost. It is therefore recommended to grow plants in a pot and overwinter it frost-free. Keep the potting soil on the dry side in winter. Water more in early spring and put the Agapanthus outside again in spring (after the last night frost).
